Explore Sierra Leone
Sierra Leone is a country located on the west coast of Africa. It gained independence from British colonial rule on April 27, 1961. Before independence, Sierra Leone was known for being a settlement for freed African slaves, especially in Freetown, which became the capital city and was founded in 1787.
The country is rich in natural resources, especially diamonds, gold, and bauxite. Sierra Leone is also known for its beautiful beaches, cultural diversity, and strong traditions.
Today, Sierra Leone is recognized for its warm hospitality, vibrant culture, democratic progress, and the enduring spirit of its people under the national motto:
“Unity, Freedom, and Justice.”

The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things. This is the Chairman we have today in Germany. "
"Power isn't control at all--power is strength, and giving that strength to others. Our Chairman isn't someone who forces others to make him stronger; he is someone willing to give his strength to others that they may have the strength to stand on their own."
